Coffee

Life is made up of the choices you make. Choose to start your day with a beneficial cup of black coffee instead of a sugar and dairy filled dessert. Drink just the real thing, coffee. Sure, it may not be the most tasty but once you know you're helping your life then maybe it doesn't taste so bad.

Coffee beans contain polyphenols which help neutralize free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that can damage cells and contribute to cancer development, according to NIH. However, if you add milk or cream to your coffee it will bind to the polyphenol, not allowing it to be absorbed as well. This means that you're most likely to gain the maximal benefits coffee has to give by drinking it black.

Coffee contains almost zero calories. Plus, you don't have to worry about buying cream, milk, or sugar. Save money, your thoughts, your time. It's a win/win choice. Minimalism is where it's at!

Also, while you're reading, please, please, try to avoid Dunkin, Starbucks and all drive-thru places. Coffee shop coffees are loaded with crap, unless black! Instead make it at home.

I've recently discovered French Press coffee. I use the Stanley French Press and it's amazing. No hassle with a coffee machine, no filters, no plastic; YES PLEASE. I simply put a scoop of Storyville coffee grounds, add a cup of boiling water and let it set for 3 mins. Push the French press cover down and you've got nice fresh coffee. Giving you, IMO, the most maximum effects that coffee can have on you on a daily basis.

This is a great starting place to begin Living Maximum. It will positively affect multiple areas of your life.
