About Me

October 3, 2024 · by Cara Bernardo

Hi! My name's Cara, I'm a Stay-At-Home-Mom to 3 boys and a loving wife to my husband. In nursing school one of the first things they teach you is that you become a lifelong learner. As an RN, BSN I worked for eight years caring for the elderly and they taught me a lot about life.

Since becoming a Mother my desire to care for my family heightened. I transitioned to part-time at first and then a fully SAHM once I had my third boy. Taking care of my family became my full-time job. Along the way I've found my passion, nourishing and taking care of my family.

While home, I really became a home-maker. I studied lots about nutrition and whole foods vs processed foods. Explored cooking these foods to nourish my family. I learned to lessen the amount of chemicals being used in my home and around my children. I have a small garden and try to get the most veggies I can out of it. Now I shop local farm stands before I go to the grocery store. I started my sourdough bread journey and what an experience it is to make your own bread!

This has all put me more in touch with my femininity. I've learned the importance of my role and I feel I'm right where I should be.

I'm passionate about educating because knowledge is power. Let's create a community where we can share all our holistically healthy tips and tricks. I want to ensure we're all living maximum.
